10. Technical Rubber Goods Plant

The history of the enterprises began in March 1942when two evacuated plants were joined - Yaroslavl Technical Rubber Goods Plant and Leningrad Krasnyi Treugolnic Rubber Plant. They were united by the Order of the People’s Commissariat of the USSR for Industry dated 17th of March 1942 under No. 23 and designated No. 688.

On the 18th of March 1942 the plant issued its first goods. This day is the birthday for technical rubber goods in Ufa. The plant was fulfilling the plans and assignment with flying colours and during the Great Patriotic War it was honoured with the Transferable Red Banner of the State Committee for Defence of the USSR for 6 times. Besides it received other distinctions.

The plant was manufacturing pontoon boats, fencing aerostats, technical and balloon fabrics, diving suits, engineering equipment.
