In 1935 Moscow established Ignition Gears and Aviation Plugs Plant No. 161. In 1941 it was moved to Ufa.

On 25th of November 1941 the plant got down to the State Plan on acquiring new types of ignition plugs with increased resource for aviation engines.

1409 employees of the plant were awarded with medals For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945” because they had been working hard and with dedication.
